It can be daunting trying to find an entertainer. Then when you’ve found them, it can be even more difficult trying to work out everything they need to know to help you.
We’ve added some of the most commonly asked questions below. But if you find you’re still a bit stuck, just reach out to us and we’ll be glad to help.

Answers for couples

We encourage fair pricing from all our entertainers who individually set their own fees based on a number of factors such as:
* number of musicians required
* length of time required on-site
* distance to travel to your event from their home

Our musicians understand you have a budget to work within, and we ask them to provide you with their most competitive quote.

If you have your heart set on an act that is a little out of your budget, don’t be afraid to ask them if they can suggest ways to reduce their fee. This might include having less players or reducing their on-site time.

If you’ve received a quote that you’re not too sure about, just send us an email and we’d love to help you.

We can spot a great act when we hear one, and we want to make sure that your musician is of the quality you expect. To achieve this, we screen all the acts who apply for inclusion in the directory and don’t list everyone.

You may find some acts that aren’t quite up to the ‘elite’ standard, but it’s to ensure you have choice and variety.  If you receive a quote from a musician, but you’re a little unsure if they’re the right choice for your wedding, just reach out to us  and we’d love to offer our experience to guide you in the right direction.

Nope, you certainly don’t! All the musicians in this directory can be contacted and booked direct so you don’t pay us any fees for our service.

Getting a quote is easy. Simply click the ‘Search Directory’ button in the menu or anywhere on the site. You’ll be taken to a new page where you can select options to filter the musicians based upon your needs.

You can view each individual acts profile by clicking the link on their name where they’ll have all the promotional material you’ll need to help you decide whether to reach out to them for a quote.

When you’re ready, add your contact information to the ‘Contact Act’ box in the right hand sidebar and your message will be sent to them immediately.

The musicians that you’ve reached out to for a quote will contact you via email or phone. If you have a preference, be sure to let them know when you fill in the contact form on their profile.

Musicians need a variety of information to provide you with a competitive quote.

Before you reach out to them, make sure you at least have your venues booked and have narrowed down the styles of music or song choices. Having this information will make it so much easier for artists to help you.

Your feedback and reviews are very important and we’d love it if you took the time to submit one.

The Directory offers two pricing options – monthly and yearly. Check the registration page for pricing and more info. ​If you have any questions, just send us a message and we’d love to help you.

You sure can! This directory is all about you getting in contact with the couples who reach out to you, in a timely manner.

All your requests for quotes will be sent to the email address you nominated in your account when you registered.

We have two pricing options available. Simply choose the one that best suits your needs, pay the fee and upload your promotional material.

We’ll take a look at your profile to make sure we’re a great fit and let you know if there’s any issues.

Should we choose to decline your listing, we’ll immediately refund any monies you’ve paid us.

Most couples who search our directory, choose specific information to narrow down their search to save wasting time.

Your listing will appear randomly in the directory to make it fair for all entertainers. We may however, offer ‘featured’ listing options for a small additional cost in the future.

As many as you need. I.e. If you perform in a number of different formats (e.g. solo and trio), it’s simply a matter of selecting the additional categories.

If you have two different named acts, you’ll need to sign up for a separate membership

We use the encryption services of Stripe to ensure your financial information is safe and secure at all times.

Your listing will be on a subscription basis of monthly or yearly.

We’ll do our best to promote you to the couples who require the style(s) of performance you offer.

We offer our couples a contact form within your listing and all emails are sent to you direct.

You’ll also be able to add links to your website and social media channels so they can contact you direct without the website.

We’ve removed the option of displaying your email as it only increases the amount of mail you’d receive.

The old saying goes, that the more entries you have in the ‘Google lottery’ the better your chances at ranking. We’ve done extensive training in SEO and are happy to help you tweak your profile to help you rank better.

We of course have a vested interest in having our own site rank, so we’ll be doing all we can in the SEO stakes to make good ranking a reality for all of us.

Yes, any time you like. Just log into your account whenever you have information to add or update.

And I know I don’t need to tell you how important it is to put your best foot forward, so we many reach out at times with a few suggestions on how to tweak your great work or improve your SEO.

Change in membership subscription frequency is assessed on a case by case basis. If you need to change your subscription, please let us know, outlining your reasons and we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
